The Kinetik Health App allows members to request and manage their rides with real-time driver tracking while connecting every stakeholder in the NEMT ecosystem on one platform


New York, NY — JULY 16, 2026 — Kinetik, a tech-enabled services company powering healthcare transportation infrastructure, has launched the Kinetik Health App, putting members in direct control of requesting, managing and tracking their own rides to medical appointments without requiring a phone call. 

Members can request single or recurring rides with just a few taps on their screen and edit, duplicate or cancel any ride at any time. Push notifications and real-time driver location data keep members informed throughout the entirety of the journey. Members can add a spouse, adult children or parents to their account, or invite a caregiver to request and manage rides on their behalf and share trip details. Members and caregivers are provided the convenience of self-service scheduling and gain confidence in their NEMT benefit.

Every year, more than 5.8 million people miss or delay medical appointments because they can’t get a ride. For many, the experience of using their transportation benefit has historically offered little to no visibility or control. The Kinetik Health App is a direct response to that gap. When members can request their rides, get reminders, see their driver in real time, check in on arrival and receive support right in the app, they make it to their appointments. For health plans, that translates directly into improved member experience and health outcomes.

The Kinetik Health App launched in early 2025 as an invite-only pilot with select health plan partners. In that time, nearly 5,000 members registered and requested trips through the platform with the app facilitating over 26,840 completed rides, demonstrating member demand and transportation network reliability.

Kinetik’s infrastructure has processed more than 13 million trips and $1.1 billion in NEMT claims, serving more than 1.5 million members, with network coverage across 44 states through 20+ dispatch partners. The member app extends that infrastructure to the one stakeholder who has historically had the least visibility: the member.

For Medicaid beneficiaries, individuals managing chronic conditions and older adults aging in place, a reliable ride to a medical appointment isn’t a convenience; it’s continuity of care. The Kinetik Health App reflects the company’s broader mission to connect communities to the care they deserve by bringing member-facing technology, available in multiple languages, to an industry that has long operated behind the scenes.
