About Us
We’re redefining healthcare transportation to make access consistent, equitable, and reliable for everyone.

Transforming NEMT
Getting to a doctor’s appointment or therapy session shouldn’t be the hardest part of the day. But for many, unreliable transportation, cost barriers, and mobility needs stand in the way of essential care.
We started Kinetik to change that. Since 2017, we’ve been transforming how medical transportation programs operate nationwide, ensuring every member has a dependable way to reach the care they deserve.
Transforming NEMT
2017
Kinetik was founded by Sufian Chowdhury, Atif Hussain, and Mahbub Rahman in the back office of a Brooklyn-based transportation provider.
2018
Kinetik launches the industry’s first revenue cycle management (Kinetik Pulse) platform purpose-built for medical transportation.
2019
Kinetik integrates with its first dispatch partner, iCabbi, enabling interoperability between dispatch, trip data, and billing, and auto-generating claims directly from completed trips.
2020
Kinetik expands integrations to more than 20 leading dispatch platforms, bringing automated billing, trip validation, and standardized workflows to a national scale.
2021
Kinetik partners with major transportation networks and TNCs, including Lyft, Uber, SendaRide, zTrip, CarePool, and M7, as well as thousands of local providers.
2022
Kinetik launches its broader medical transportation platform with Kinetik Atlas and Kinetik Compass, evolving from billing software into a closed-loop transportation system.

Who We Are
We bring deep expertise across healthcare, technology, and Medicaid operations to create transportation programs that are more transparent, data-driven, and reliable for the communities you serve.
We believe in fair access to care, and this starts with us. Equity is at our core. We build inclusive, fair solutions that consider everyone, both in and out of the office
Our industry is complex and constantly evolving. We encourage questions, continuous learning, and a deep understanding of the ‘why’ behind every project
We work as a team because our mission is bigger than any one person. By bringing diverse perspectives together, we can better address challenges and create unique, impactful solutions

We set out to make sure transportation never stands between someone and their care, whether it’s a routine appointment, dialysis treatment, therapy session or anything in-between. Today, our diverse, passionate team is making this dream a reality.
Kinetik has been recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as a Friend of the Ecosystem.
This reflects our commitment to advancing interoperability, strengthening secure data exchange, and building a more transparent, accountable healthcare infrastructure.
Non-emergency medical transportation sits at the intersection of access, compliance, and cost. As part of the CMS ecosystem, we’re working alongside health plans, technology partners, and government agencies to modernize how transportation is managed — and how care is accessed.
