Long Island City, NY - July 7, 2025  Kinetik, the nation’s largest digital healthcare transportation infrastructure and leading provider of tech-enabled solutions for NEMT, today announced its designation as a Preferred Vendor by the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP).

ACAP is an association representing 85 not-for-profit Safety Net Health Plans serving more than 30 million people through Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and other publicly sponsored programs.

This partnership aims to address longstanding challenges in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), a critical benefit often hindered by fragmented systems and barriers to care for vulnerable populations. Kinetik blends a consultative, partnership-based approach with purpose-built technology to empower health plans to design and deliver more effective transportation programs. By pairing strategic guidance with real-time data and automation, Kinetik enhances program oversight, improves cost management, and delivers a better overall experience for members.

"Becoming a Preferred Vendor for ACAP opens the door for us to support more health plans in modernizing how they deliver NEMT benefits,” said Sufian Chowdhury, CEO and Founder of Kinetik. “We’re proud to be a Preferred Vendor— helping health plans redesign their NEMT programs with flexible, tech-enabled solutions tailored to the unique needs of their local communities. Our end-to-end digital infrastructure puts health plans in control, reducing the risk for fraud, waste, and abuse, lowering costs, and ultimately elevating the member experience.”

“We are pleased to name Kinetik as an ACAP Preferred Vendor," said ACAP CEO Margaret A. Murray. “Our member plans look forward to learning more about Kinetik’s innovative approach to improving health outcomes - a goal that remains central to their missions."

Health plans partnering with Kinetik report significant improvements in trip completion rates, on-time performance, member satisfaction, and average per-trip costs. The platform's transparency also enhances program integrity and fosters stronger relationships with local transportation providers through prompt and accurate payments.
